Busses / Public Transportation
Local public transport is taking a leading role in the debate revolving around climate and fine dust emission. The priority, particularly for bus travel, is to use efficient engine technologies to reduce fuel consumption and emissions of particulate matter. In addition to the combustion process itself, the focus is also on engine cooling and air supply.
Discharging the heat generated during combustion into the surrounding environment reliably and efficiently requires a ventilation grille with the highest possible air permeability. Just like for the combustion engine, it is also important that the modern electric drive does not overheat – so ensuring adequate cool air is essential. With up to 85% air permeability, perforated ventilation grilles ensure adequate heat removal and fresh air supply – and still provide protection against dirt and stone chips.
