The electronics sector is highly dynamic. Constant change leads to ever more modern and appealing products that are lighter, quieter and work more reliably. This trend means that components and assemblies must be individually tailored for their future use – after all, only perfectly matched parts can guarantee perfect functionality. This is why exact tolerances are a top priority when we produce our server cabinet door components, particularly as the process includes so many mechanical steps.
Serve well chilled.
Premium server cabinets not only stand out due to their top quality, quick installation, simple cable management and ease of maintenance. If everything comes together, they also look fabulous, too! This can be a real challenge during the component manufacturing process. Not only do we have to implement chamfering, cut-outs and other forming processes accurately, but the design also has to be adjusted. And the basic requirements such as air throughput for cooling and stability cannot be restricted either. Our components for server cabinets support this combination of functionality and smart appearance. For our customers, we meticulously produce components with multiple chamfers precisely to their strict requirements. They are often perforated in some areas and have cut-outs to mount locks, but also have plain, non-perforated sections. To achieve a homogeneous appearance, we use a combined production process. Depending upon the perforation, a free cross section of up to 85 % can result. The perforated plates must be absolutely flat in order to accommodate the many chamfered edges, which require the highest dimensional accuracy possible so that the tolerances do not accumulate and lead to non-homogeneous fissure formation.

Before they are assembled, individual components for server cabinets can be comparatively delicate, mainly due to the low material thicknesses. It is thus important that the components are treated carefully for safe transport. We develop suitable packing and transport solutions depending upon our customers’ requirements. We will even address the subject of storage in the customer’s warehouse and, for example, we have developed special reusable packaging which allows vertical transport and space-saving storage.
