Prototype & Toolmanufacture


Perfectly manufactured metal components first need to undergo tests and trials and then need high-quality tools for serial production. These require specialist expertise for their construction and maintenance. We work with a range of specialist partners for making prototypes and tools.


We provide an initial prototype with an initial prototype inspection report before the serial production of parts begins – on request, this can be done in accordance with VDA 2 for use in prototypes. We keep the costs for this correspondingly low and use alternative methods to ensure flexibility.

A good example of this is the ready-to-install hammer-formed model. Here, the original material is hammered on a negative mould of the component. The mould is made from cheap steel or milled out of aluminium. Using this method means that expensive tools are not required at this stage. Design modifications can still be made quite easily during this development stage.


When making tools, we are prepared for dealing with the most diverse range of unique requirements. The experience we have gained has resulted in:

  • Engineering and development of deep drawing tools, together with experienced partners
  • Practical thinking and extensive knowledge of tool production
  • Storage of deep drawing tools with a total weight of 212 tonnes
