Anything but without a plan: our management system is certified according to DIN EN ISO 14001.

In order to achieve objectives, not only intentions but also a plan is needed. This also applies to environmental measures. The fact that we are consistently implementing our environmental protection plan and that we place great emphasis on the efficient use of natural resources is now confirmed by the certification of our environmental management system according to DIN EN ISO 14001. Yet where is the targeted approach expressed?

A plan that works out for everyone

Only those who take active environmental protection and cleaner production seriously demonstrate a sense of responsibility. Our aim is to manufacture products whose production has a minimal effect on the environment. The certification of our environmental management system according to DIN EN ISO 14001 is a consistent step in this respect. A step that does not allow you to stand still. Because the DIN EN ISO 14001 environment management standard focuses on a continuous improvement process and comprehensive documentation. We therefore actively plan our environmental protection, monitor its implementation and constantly check it for potential optimisation. Based on an analysis of material and energy flows, we develop defined options and targets for the reduction of waste, wastewater and emissions. A plan that works out for everyone – for you, our environment and for us.

Anything that can be optimized is done so.

Self-optimisation is currently a major trend. Our industrial production provides an incredible amount of ways at different levels to be adapted in an environmentally friendly manner. Starting with an energy-saving way of heating and cooling the production halls almost without external power, thanks to a facility designed to use heat generated internally. By means of consistent recycling, with which an underground, fully automatic system sorts3.26 million kilograms of scrap steel and aluminium a year. Through to saving on resources in the metal forming process. As a result, we have been able to reduce our consumption of lubricant oil by 60 % over recent years. Our optimisation drive also continues when it comes to packaging, which is why we have committed to only using recyclablepackaging material. We are thereby eliminating waste even before it occurs and preventing the unnecessary use of resources.

We are not only constantly improving our production, but also training our employees about environmental issues and, for example, currently enabling our head of production to gain additional training as an energy manager.

Our environmental management system is impressive and complies with the DIN EN ISO 14001 international standard.
