Exhaust gas emission technology for a clean future

The UK-based developer and manufacturer of exhaust gas and emission aftertreatment systems, Eminox, has a wide array of technical expertise. The company is driven not only by meeting the legally stipulated Euro, Stage and Tier emission standards – it is also seeking to significantly reduce global air pollution caused by heavy-haul traffic as quickly as possible. Eminox is actively playing a part in developing future options to this end. And SOLVARO plays a part in one of Eminox’s leading diesel particulate filters. We supply the diffuser for the CRT system that virtually eliminates particulate matter, hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide from exhaust gas.

A small part with a big impact

The SOLVARO diffusers supplied to Eminox makes an indispensable contribution to exhaust gas aftertreatment efficiency and serves as a compressor plate within the Eminox products, evenly distributing the unfiltered exhaust gas across the surface of the catalytic converter. Specifically designed staggered round perforation results in this effect. There are also lasered slits in the centre of the disc for attachment purposes. The exhaust gas goes through a number of processes as it makes its way through the catalytic converters. The exhaust gases oxidise and a filter traps the particulate matter. The now purified exhaust gas is then taken to the tail pipe for a variety of Retrofit and OEM applications.

The stainless steel diffuser evenly distributes the unfiltered exhaust gas across the surface of the catalytic converter.
