One company wants to develop its knowledge and expertise, and another can help it achieve that. Coming together in a mentoring programme is a good prerequisite for improving quality standards in the supply chain. As one of 60 companies countrywide, we’ve joined the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s mentoring programme. We take small-to-medium-sized companies under our wing and advise them on how they can further develop their knowledge and expertise.
Standards don’t stop at our own door
Whether it is a company’s general culture, business policy or international experience, or more specifically, its standards and processes, many things are only truly effective when they are implemented in both directions throughout the supply chain. Our aims in participating in the mentoring programme run by the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry are to help our existing suppliers develop further and to find new promising partners as well. For a year, we work closely with four companies, advising and supporting them and investing in their future development in a wide range of areas. The shared objective is always to increase professionalism, quality and efficiency. The companies we support take on an ‘extended workbench’ of tasks from the field of surface treatment, for example.
Social commitment beyond international borders
As an international company with sites in Germany and Hungary, as well as international sales offices, we have developed our own culture of solidarity with the countries with which we associate. Intensively cultivating this culture also means acknowledging our social responsibility to promote small-to-medium-sized businesses in Hungary. It’s an investment that opens up opportunities for both our company and all of our partners.
